Business Operations Intern
Help us turn a new B2C project into a scalable business: build processes, improve operations, analyze data, automate workflows, and solve real problems from day one.
Business Operations Intern B2C | Internship Full time
€400/month
Bologna, Italy. On-site presence required.
Who we are
Insurance claims are still slow, manual, fragmented, and often difficult for people to navigate.
At Liablix, we're changing that. We build AI that reconstructs road accidents, detects fraud, and helps insurers and professionals make faster, more objective decisions.
Backed by leading international investors, we're building one of Europe's most ambitious AI startups.
Now we're working on a new consumer-facing project and looking for someone to help us turn it into an efficient, organized, and scalable business.
Why this internship is different
This isn't a traditional business or operations internship.
You'll work alongside the people building the project, contributing to the systems behind it: customers, funnels, CRM, processes, professionals, data, experiments, and automations.
You won't spend your internship simply updating spreadsheets or preparing presentations.
Your main responsibility will be helping turn decisions into actions and making sure the operational machine works effectively.
What you'll do
Organize projects, tasks, priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups.
Maintain trackers, internal documentation, and operational workflows.
Support the management of incoming leads and customer requests.
Help organize CRM pipelines and keep customer information complete and updated.
Track users across the funnel and identify where they abandon the process.
Support customer follow-ups, document collection, and case status management.
Help coordinate professionals involved in delivering services.
Build and maintain simple dashboards for key business and operational metrics.
Track leads, conversion rates, quotations, revenue, costs, and operational performance.
Research competitors, pricing, business models, markets, and new opportunities.
Support partnership research, outreach preparation, and follow-ups.
Identify inefficient or repetitive processes and propose improvements.
Build SOPs, checklists, templates, and workflows.
Collect customer and operational feedback and turn it into actionable insights.
Use AI, no-code tools, CRM systems, and automations to make processes faster and more scalable.
What we are looking for
We're looking for a student who needs to complete a curricular internship or a newly graduated student interested in business, operations, entrepreneurship, technology, startups, and AI.
You should:
Be highly organized and reliable.
Have strong problem-solving skills.
Be comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic business metrics.
Be able to take an unclear problem and structure it.
Communicate clearly in writing and conversation.
Be curious about how businesses actually work.
Take initiative instead of waiting for detailed instructions.
Be comfortable learning new tools quickly.
Pay attention to details and verify your own work.
Be able to prioritize when multiple things need attention.
Be comfortable interacting with customers and professionals.
Be interested in improving processes instead of simply completing tasks.
Be comfortable working in a startup where priorities evolve quickly.
Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, Airtable, CRM platforms, ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, Make, n8n, SQL, Python, or other digital tools is a plus. You don't need to know all of them.
Previous professional experience isn't required. University projects, startup initiatives, side projects, automation experiments, analytical projects, or other independent work are welcome.
What we offer
Direct collaboration with the people building the project.
Exposure to business, operations, growth, product, and strategy.
Real operational responsibilities from day one.
The opportunity to help build processes instead of simply inheriting them.
Hands-on experience across CRM, funnels, customers, analytics, operations, and automations.
The opportunity to understand how a new business works from the inside.
A fast learning environment inside an ambitious AI startup.
€400/month internship reimbursement.
Hybrid work from our Bologna office.
Concrete opportunities for future growth within the company.
Culture fit
We’re a fit if:
When you see a problem, your instinct is to understand it and solve it.
You enjoy turning messy situations into clear processes.
You combine analysis with execution.
You take initiative instead of waiting for the perfect brief.
You naturally ask whether repetitive work could be automated.
You're curious about AI, technology, startups, business models, and entrepreneurship.
We’re not a fit if:
You need every task to be perfectly defined before starting.
You want a purely administrative internship.
You prefer analyzing problems without executing solutions.
You're uncomfortable working with numbers.
You need constant direction before taking action.
You're looking for a slow and predictable environment.
Why join us
Building a company isn't just about having good ideas. It's about turning decisions into processes, customers into insights, and repetitive work into scalable systems.
This internship will give you the opportunity to learn how a business is built from the inside while contributing directly to its daily execution and growth.
