Frontend Engineering Internship
Here you’ll write code that insurers and experts use to decide real claims, and you’ll see it go to production.
Frontend Engineering Internship (Curricular) | Full time Internship.
800€/month
Bologna, Italy.
Who we are
Liablix is an innovative startup transforming how road accidents are reconstructed and analyzed. Today, claims management is slow, opaque, and prone to fraud. We want to make it precise, fast, and automated; powered by AI.
We work at the intersection of computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and generative models to analyze vehicle damages, crash dynamics, and liability. It’s a massive market, and we’re convinced that the next insurtech unicorn will be born here.
We’re VC-backed by top international funds that strongly believe in our vision and support our rapid growth.
Our users (insurers, reconstruction experts, legal doctors) explore complex accident data and interactive 3D reconstructions directly in the browser. We’re looking for a Frontend Engineering Intern who wants to learn how to build interfaces for a brand-new category of software, working on real features that go to production.
What you’ll do
Build responsive and intuitive interfaces in React, alongside our engineering team.
Contribute to interactive Three.js components that let users explore 3D reconstructions of accidents in real time.
Turn complex data (crash dynamics, damage analysis, injury evaluations) into clear visualizations and dashboards.
Work closely with AI researchers, backend engineers, and product to understand how a real product is designed and shipped.
Help improve the performance and usability of data-heavy views.
Experiment with new frontend technologies and bring your ideas to the table.
What we’re looking for
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with the possibility to activate a curricular internship (tirocinio curricolare) through your university.
Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Basic experience with React, from university projects, personal projects, or hackathons.
Interest in 3D and web graphics: any experience with Three.js, WebGL, or similar is a strong plus.
An eye for UI/UX is a big plus, even from personal projects outside the web. The best feature in the world is useless if nobody enjoys using it: we want someone who understands how a non-technical user thinks and designs the page around their natural behavior.
A GitHub profile or portfolio showing something you’ve built is a strong plus.
Curiosity and a fast learning curve: you’re not afraid of things you’ve never done before.
Being a genius is a strong plus.
What we offer
A real role, not a coffee-making internship: you’ll work on features that our customers use every day.
Monthly stipend: €800.
Direct mentorship from our tech team, with code reviews and hands-on guidance.
Exposure to a rare tech stack: AI, computer vision, and 3D reconstruction in production.
Team life: you’ll join a small, ambitious team and take part in our periodic team retreats.
A head start: your name will be tied to one of the most ambitious AI startups in Europe, and outstanding interns may be offered a position at the end of the internship.
Culture Fit
We’re a fit if:
You want to learn fast by working on real problems.
You take ownership and thrive in fast-moving environments.
You want to build something big and put all of yourself into it.
We’re not a fit if:
You’re only looking for credits to complete your degree.
You prefer predictable roles with predefined tasks.
You expect to be told exactly what to do every step of the way.
Why join us
Tired of university projects that end up in a drawer? Here you’ll write code that insurers and experts use to decide real claims, and you’ll see it go to production.
We’re not looking for “interns.” We’re looking for future co-creators of Liablix.
You didn’t buy Bitcoin in 2009, but you joined Liablix in 2026. Everyone says they want to join a unicorn early. Few actually do.
